Don't buy knock off MP3 players.

I went shopping the other day and on an impulse buy decided to buy a 160gb Classic iPod... Well I wish I had of done now. Instead I was talked out of it by my girlfriend (Last time I listen to her regarding technology) and bought possibly the worst excuse of a media player I've ever seen.

Behold the beast. Dubbed "LOGIK L8GBMP410 Multimedia Player"
See, it already sounds like mass produced Chinese rubbish.

I despise the PC World salesman that coaxed me into buying this.  "It's got 8GB of memory and a great battery life" were his words.  True, he never lied about that but  the LOGIK doesn't allow users to set up playlists and actually searches for music much like a skipping CD.  If I want to swap albums it takes a minute to load up the new album; this is very frustrating!!
Moral(s) of the day; don't trust girlfriend on technology advice, don't listen to PC World salesmen and don't buy knock off MP3 players.

    I don't bother with PC World. I'm pretty sure the only companies worth buying media players from are:

    Creative
    Apple (controversial)
    Cowon
    Sony
    Phillips

    and a few others.

    and it will die in 8 months anyway, at least an ipods god for a about 2 years, mines been abused ans its gone for 3 now... battery is starting to play up though...

    Ugh! Yeah That is not good at all.
    if I had to wait more than 3 seconds for a song to load from my MP3 player I would go insane!

    actually im not buying them cause theyre coming from china. their industry is like 0 regulated. they can sell whatever they wish

    I'm really surprised he tried to get you to buy the crappy cheap knock off. He sounds like he's failed being a salesperson at the most fundamental level

    I'm surprised that they didn't try to sell you something more expensive. I do have an iPod touch, but I don't really bother with it. I just use my Android phone to music. I do remember buying an iPod clone off of ebay a few years ago though, it was equally as bad as you described.

    I actually think I was given this the other day and just put it down in my garage randomly because I knew someone made a mistake buying it for me.
    Haha, but I second that moral(s). haha.

    Oh and yeah, PC World has gone downhill these past few years.

    I took my droid and stuck a 32GB card in it... hello new mp3 player. There are some good apps on the market and it's sure a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a dedicated device
